En Pointe

En Pointe takes its name from its setting — a building elegantly balanced on a point, as its builder put it at groundbreaking. Developed by Ontario-based Anthony Ambler, designed by Sarasota's Echt Architects and built by Nautilus Homes, the five-story building holds only four residences, one per level, above a gated ground floor with covered parking and a secure lobby. Angela Rodriguez Interiors handled the interior design, and the whole project leans into a mid-century-modern-inspired language the team calls neomodern: clean horizontal lines, warm wood details and glass railings that keep the views unobstructed. The site sits on the inside loop of Golden Gate Point, oriented toward Marina Jack and the bayfront. Ground broke in February 2022, and the finished building earned national recognition in March 2025, when it won a Silver Award in the Multifamily Built for Sale/Condo category at the National Association of Home Builders' Best in American Living Awards. For a neighborhood known for intimate condominiums, En Pointe is among the most intimate of all — a four-home community where the elevator opens into your own foyer and the pool deck is shared with only three neighbors.

Each of the four residences offers three bedrooms and three and a half baths in roughly 2,439 square feet of interior space, plus more than 700 square feet of covered outdoor living across two terraces — one oriented to the sunrise, the other to the sunset. Ceilings reach ten feet, with modern tray details and inset linear lighting, and large-format porcelain tile runs from the interiors straight out to the terraces, where wood ceilings and glass railings frame the water. Kitchens are fitted with Italian Scavolini cabinetry, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and a Wolf induction cooktop, opening to a combined kitchen-dining-living space designed around the views. Living areas feature a 74-inch electric fireplace set into a wood-paneled accent wall. The owner's suite includes a walk-in closet, dual vanities, a frameless glass shower and a soaking tub.

Amenities are scaled to four households rather than four hundred, and they are genuinely private as a result. The heated saltwater pool measures 7 by 36 feet with dual-end entry and a built-in bench, joined by an outdoor shower and a series of elevated decks — a wooden lounging deck, a stone dining deck and a dedicated grilling deck. Each residence has two covered, secured parking spaces with EV charging available, and the ground floor includes a lobby with secure mailboxes and bike storage. The entire site is enclosed, with perimeter fencing, a motorized gate, fob and keypad access and CCTV cameras. Pets are permitted, subject to size limits.

Daily life at En Pointe has the rhythm of a private home with the ease of a condominium — what the developer describes as a lock-and-leave lifestyle. Mornings might start with coffee on the sunrise terrace and a swim in the saltwater pool before the day warms up; evenings drift naturally to the west-facing terrace as the sun drops behind the Ringling Bridge. The Point itself invites slow loops along the water, and the bayfront's marina culture, the parks along the water and downtown's restaurants and performance venues are all close at hand. With only three neighbors, the pool deck, dining terrace and grilling station feel less like shared amenities and more like an extension of home.
